Mike joined Southside Animal Hospital as the Practice Manager in August 2024. Originally from Massachusetts, he spent his early years in South Florida before relocating to Flagstaff, Arizona, where he completed high school and attended Northern Arizona University. 

Mike brings a wealth of experience from his diverse background, including co-hosting KFAT’s Morning Chaos and serving on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska. He has also been actively involved with the American Heart Association and the National Foundation for Suicide Prevention (Alaska Chapter). His commitment to community service has been a driving force throughout his career.

Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and exploring Alaska’s natural beauty. As one of the founders of Arctic Comic Con, Mike's interests are as diverse as his professional experiences. Though he loves animals, he’ll make an exception for alligators!

Mike’s approach to leadership is guided by the belief that “Kindness is a language which the deaf and the blind can read,” a quote by Mark Twain that inspires his work and interactions with both people and animals.
